BROADBAND INTERNET CONNECTION

The type of broadband connection you have is largely dependant on where you live.  The two main types are ADSL or Cable modem.  

The ADSL connection is supplied by BT**, but you must live in an area where the local BT exchange is ADSL enabled.                      
With this type of connection you can make voice/fax calls whilst using the internet.                                                                                

Cable Modems are usually connected to the cable TV infrastructure.  The three main suppliers are Telewest, NTL and Tiscali.             
Your phone line is free to make voice/fax calls.  We charge £50 to set up Broadband.                                                                         

LAN CONNECTION

This is for small to medium sized businesses, that need to have internet access/email on more than one computer.  This is also suitable  
for the home user who has several PCs, and wants to share the Internet Connection on each PC, enabling different family members    
to access the internet at the same time.  This means someone can be downloading music/films at the same time as                               
mum or dad is paying a bill online, or checking their bank balance.
